Christmas and New Year 2012
You either love it or you hate it! Either way why not spend it here at Broughtons Cottage.
On your arrival you will find a fully decorated tree and a homemade Christmas cake to welcome you. The log burner will be lit and the beds made up ready for you to fall into. Celebrate in the cottage – the kitchen has all you need to cook a festive meal. Why not
order your online groceries to arrive before you –I will unpack it and put it in the fridge/freezer to await your arrival. (Please contact me to arrange a time and day). We can’t guarantee snow or that Father Christmas will visit -but we do have several chimneys he might choose from!
Bring your bikes (we can store them safely for you), bring your boots, gloves and hats and come and enjoy all that the Vale of Gloucester and the Forest of Dean have to offer away from the hectic bustle of modern life.
Alternatively we can offer a tinsel free cottage if you prefer–warm and cosy with a log fire crackling in the sitting room, a shelf full of good books to read, suggestions for winter walks away from it all and a bottle of homemade sloe gin to warm you on your return from a day out.
