We are gloriously situated high above the River Severn and from the garden have 
wonderful views across farm land to the river and beyond to the cotswold escarpment.
A few miles to the west is the River Wye, a magical and peaceful river offering long lengths of unspoilt beauty to explore. It is ideal for walkers, canoeists and bird watching. If you are lucky you may see an otter.
The Severn Bore is a spectacle not to be missed, come and stay when a 4* or 5* is due.
The River Severn is tidal and exposed mudflats attract flocks of waders and seabirds.
